(29.11.2022) The first in-person meeting of the CHIST-ERA ECOMOME project will take place today in Lyon, with a participation of all the project partners: INSA Lyon, ETS Montreal, UPT, and IMDEA Networks.
(27.11.2022) For the next week, we will be hosting at the CITI laboratory a team of researchers from the Polytechnic University of Timisoara, led by Marius Marcu, and including Razvan Bogdan, Sergiu Nimara, and Marian Ionascu.
(06.07.2022) Today is the big day for Romain Pujol, who will defend his PhD thesis entitled "Association des utilisateurs dans les réseaux mobiles flexibles et agiles", which I co-supervised together with Fabrice Valois, in front of a jury composed of Tara Ali Yahiya, Vania Conan, André-Luc Beylot, Stéphane Frenot, Frédéric Launay, and Véronique Veque.
(05.05.2022) Together with André-Luc Beylot, we are organising the 2022 edition of the Rescom summer school. This is an event organised by the Networks and Distributed Systems CNRS research group and this year's topic is "Non Terrestrial Networks". Registrations are now open.
(08.02.2022) The first results of the SafeCityMap project funded by the Inria Mission Covid have been accepted for publications in ACM Transactions on Spatial Algorithms and Systems. These results are part of the PhD thesis of Solohaja Rabenjamina and they are a collaboration with Aline Viana, Lucas Santos de Oliveira and the late Artur Ziviani.

(06.09.2021) The project ECOMOME - Measurement and Optimisation of Energy Consumption in Cellular Networks will be funded by the CHIST-ERA 2020 call. The project will start in February 2022 and my collaborators for the next 3 years will be Marco Fiore, Marius Marcu and Diala Naboulsi.

(03.06.2021) The result of an excellent collaboration around the PhD thesis of Loic Bonnetain will be published in Transportation Research Part C. This is a joint work on improving the spatio-temporal granularity of user trajectories in mobile phone data, with Angelo Furno, Nour-Eddin El Faouzi, Marco Fiore, Zbigniew Smoreda and Cezary Ziemlicki.
(01.06.2021) The evaluation of the impact of the carrier sense mechanism in LPWANs, a part of the PhD thesis of Abderrahman Ben Khalifa, co-supervised with Hervé Rivano, will be presented at IFIP Wireless Days 2021, to be held at the end of the month in the virtual space.
(16.02.2021) This has been a long one in the making, but our work on rendering mobile phone data trajectories private was accepted for publication in ACM Transactions of Data Science. This is a collaboration with Marco Gramaglia, Marco Fiore and Angelo Furno.
